WINTERBLIZZARD 2005 Jersey Wahoos at GCIT Jan. 8-9
While a smaller contingent attended this meet those who did made up for their numbers with impressive performances. Impressive certainly describes the performance of Grace Lederer, Grace had 9 personal best times and 3 of those were her first “A” times. Nicole McCullen had 8 personal bests and averaged over 4 second drops in each of those events. Shannon McGann averaged over an 8.6 seconds drop in each of her three events. The 500 free events had our swimmers dropping major chunks of time Bethany Desmond 7.96 seconds, Christine Casiello 13.37, Kayla Reidenbach 25.07, and Kelsey Hammell 27.64 seconds.  All that distance work at practice paid off.  Overall the team registered 61% personal best times. This is all the more impressive coming quickly after the State meet showing. Great job as usual by the Dolphins.

Veteran’ Day A/BB/C Meet at GCIT

While all of these swimmers should be proud of their accomplishments the times of Aubrey Z, Danielle S and Greta R, are truly outstanding improvements. In addition to these achievements Daniel Flynn had an amazing meet. He placed first in 6 of 8 events. Greta Reichert achieved her personal best in 9 of 10 events and missed the 10th by .25 seconds. Kyle Devore did his personal best in 8 0f 10 events and averaged improving by 3.58 seconds in each event. It was a great job again by the whole team.
